ShrinkIt ("the app", "we") is made by Karesoft. This policy explains what data the website and the Android/iOS apps handle.
Your videos never leave your device
Compression, trimming and MP3 conversion run entirely on your device. We do not upload, store, view or share the files you choose. We have no servers that receive your media.
Data we do not collect
We do not ask for an account, name, email address, contacts, location or photos library access. The app only opens the files you pick.
Advertising
The free version shows ads served by Google AdMob (apps) and Google Ad Manager / AdSense (website). These services may collect device identifiers (such as the advertising ID), IP address, and ad interaction data to serve, measure and personalise ads, and to prevent fraud. Where required by law (e.g. EEA, UK), we ask for your consent first using Google's consent tool, and you can change your choice at any time. Purchases
Subscriptions are processed by Google Play, the Apple App Store or our web payment provider, and managed through RevenueCat. We receive a random anonymous app user ID and your subscription status — never your card details.
Local storage
The app stores a random anonymous ID, your daily free-export counter and settings on your device. Uninstalling the app or clearing site data removes them.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Your rights
Because we do not hold personal data about you beyond the anonymous ID above, there is usually nothing to export or delete. For ad data, use your device's ad settings or Google's consent options. For any request, contact us below.
